Wyatt Meets Wesley!
Wyatt met his cousin Wesley, Auntie Kaila, and Uncle Adam!
Was so fun to see Wes, Wyatt, and Hunter side by side and crazy to see how fast babies grow. Wes is 10 weeks older than Wyatt and is so alert, sturdy, and smiley :)
Thank you Riedel's for lunch - was fun to get together.

One Week Old!
Today Wyatt turned one week old! This week has flown by and has been a lot less insane then I thought it would be. The first couple of days at home took some adjusting, but we are all doing (and sleeping!) well. I forgot how much newborns sleep!
Wyatt had his one week appointment this afternoon and is doing great. He surpassed his birth weight weighing in at 8lbs 8oz (such a relief!). Like most newborns, he lost a little bit of weight after he was born so it was a relief to see that he's gained almost a pound in four days! He is still jaundice, but his numbers are borderline so the doctor says to stick him in the sun a couple times a day and that should help.
On Wyatt's three day wellness check he was 7lbs 10oz, 20.25 inches, and checked out great. He slept through his appointment (unlike his brother who joined us for his 18 month appt and cried the whole time!). Note to self: don't schedule doctors appointments for both kids at the same time - way too stressful.
We are so in love with this little guy and thankful to have him in our family.

Wyatt James Andersen
Hello and meet Mr. Wyatt James!
Born on 2-2-15 at 12:41pm and weighing in at 8lbs 5oz, 20 inches. Big boy!
His skin is so soft and he looks a lot like his big bro. More to come..
