6 Months Old - Davis

Last week Davis turned six months old. I can't believe he is already halfway to ONE. He is still the smiliest, calmest, and most content baby ever. I feel so lucky to have him as my third child.

Stats
Weight: 18.7lbs, 69%
Height: 27", 66%
Head circumference: 45.5cm, 96%

Davis is rolling both ways, doing push ups, babbling, sitting with assistance, eating solids, and graduated to a convertible car seat. He has changed so much this past month, it is really fun to watch.

Davis wakes up twice a night still, although I am trying to cut one of his feedings since he doesn't need the calories. He still naps up to three times a day. I am trying to get him to nap only two times, but sometimes around 4-5pm he gets tired so I let him take a quick snooze.

We love you Davis and can't imagine life without you!

Lately

Wyatt is loving food and so smiley! I just love him. Hunter is a great big brother that likes to feed Wyatt and show him his toys :)

Tahoe 2015

Such a fun trip! We saw a bear (twice), went to a boat show, paddleboarded, spent time at the beach and pool, and relaxed. Going back to work on Monday was rough! Thank you Oma and Opa for a nice week away :)

Six Months - Wyatt

How is this baby boy already halfway to one? Seems crazy to me.
Wyatt is a sweet little (big) guy and he fits right in with our family. He still looks like a baby Hunter to me and I am always curious to see if they will look alike when they are older. He is very strong and has a mean grip. He is also extremely sturdy..his legs, feet, trunk are all very solid.
Loves: jumping in the johnny jumper, giggling, planking, scooting backwards, his pacifier, eating, napping, when we pretend to eat his belly (he giggles so hard), diaper changes, his swing
Dislikes: being hungry, dirty diapers, being in one place for too long
Weight: 18.5lbs (55th percentile)
Length: 90th percentile
We are at such a sweet spot in our lives right now and I am feeling so lucky these days. Hunter is really funny with all of his talking/energy and Wyatt is at my favorite baby age (giggly and mostly immobile).

Park days

We love finding new parks and luckily our town seems to have a ton of them. I stumbled upon this one the other day and made a mental note to take the kids this weekend.
These two love the swings!

Dance Party

The Johnny Jumper is one of Hunter's favorite toys. Check out his jig to Rihanna and Shakira's new song. Such a ham!

Weekend Snaps

First Day of Daycare

Hunter had his first day at daycare yesterday. According to his daycare provider, he did great. Smiled at all the other kids and was very curious :) It was nice to have a few hours to run errands without having to get him in and out of the car (sometimes I skip errands because I just don't want to deal with it). He is scheduled to go three full days next week, so I am hoping to tackle a few projects around the house and cash in on my massage and facial!

Party Boy

Hunter attended his first birthday party this past weekend in SF (Happy Birthday, Bennett!). He was looking rather mature wearing a button up shirt and sneakers. He tasted BBQ sauce for the first time (thanks to Robert) and got his first balloon! Was a fun time with lots of babies and lots of delicious pizza.
I totally forgot to get a picture of him and the birthday boy together, unfortunately :(

Cousin Date

The cousins caught up with each other over Pavel's treats last Friday. Hunter stared at the crumbs on the plates looking confused. One day you can have some, big boy!

Six Months!

Happy half birthday to Hunter!
I can't believe he is already six months old. A lot has changed this month: he has two bottom teeth, sits, does push-ups, rolls both ways, eats solids twice a day, cracks up at Cooper (and funny faces), sleeps on his stomach, easily distracted when eating, and is now showing signs of wanting to crawl! This past month has by far been the most fun!
Likes: rolling, eating "real" food, Cooper, exersaucer, standing, chewing on everything, drooling
(everywhere), pulling my hair, and sleeping on his stomach.
Dislikes: being tired or hungry <-- he is not very difficult to please :)
Length: 27.25 inches, 80th percentile (he was 25 inches at his four month appointment)
Weight: 17.25lbs 50th percentile (he was 15lbs at his four month appointment)
I am surprised at his weight, since I thought he would be heavier. Those round cheeks are deceiving! We got the green light on introducing everything except honey, so that should make meals more fun! I am hoping eventually I can take whatever we eat for dinner and blend it in the vitamix for him. That way his meals are more tasty and nutrient.

Waiting for his shots
Flashback to his one month update photo - tiny bird legs. If you look at the sticker size in comparison to his head size, you can see how much his head has grown over the months.

Crawling Soon?

Someone has been pretty wiggly the last few days - looks like he is wanting to crawl in the near future and we are not ready! I have no idea how to baby proof a house, so it looks like I will be doing some research this week :)
