9th Anniversary

Happy 9th anniversary, Robert!
This has been an exciting year for us: we moved to another home in PG, had a baby, and closed on our first home. We just so happened to close escrow on our anniversary - it was meant to be.
Cheers to many more years together! Love you, Robert

It's official..

Robert and I bought our first home! After years and years of shopping for a home, we found the perfect one in Carmel.
We have been addicted to Redfin for years and always checking for new homes on the market. One Friday afternoon, I refreshed my browser and this home had been posted 20 minutes prior. I instantly texted Robert that this was the one. I knew it! We texted our realtor, saw the house the next morning, and our offer was accepted 24 hours later.
We are looking forward to all the little projects and updates that will make the home "ours"

First day of preschool

Today Hunter had his first day of preschool and he did great! He ran right in and didn't even look back (no kiss goodbye for mom!).
I am so proud if him and happy that he loves his teachers and school. I was not sure if he would be shy/slow to warm, since many times he can be shy in new situations. He really surprised me with his enthusiasm and excitement!
Such a big guy these days :)

Eleven Months Old - Davis

How are we only one month away from Davis' 1st birthday?? I am shocked at how fast this year went by.
Not much has changed in the past month. Davis still only has two teeth, he still loves his sleep and sleeps through the night. He is still napping twice a day, although, there have been a couple days where he ditched his morning nap and opted for a super long afternoon nap. I think my other boys ditched their morning naps around the one year mark, so we may be on track for the same thing!
Davis likes food a lot, just like his brothers did. He drinks his milk out of a straw cup (except at bedtime) and is talking up a storm.
He yells DADADA and HIIIIIII, but still doesn't say mama. It seems like his speech is improving and I have a feeling in the next couple of months he will have a handful of words. Can't wait!
He is a super fast crawler, loves to cruise the furniture + tables, loves cords (yikes), and bath time is a favorite. He is a great shopper and loves to sit in the cart or his stroller. He wins over almost everyone with his sweet demeanor and infectious smile.

Ten Months Old - Davis

This post is so late, but here we go - 10 months! Getting into everything, still only two teeth, eats more than his brothers, and loves his sleep. Davis is still a dream baby, no complaints here!
Not sure how much he weighs, but he is definitely a big boy and wearing 12 months and 12-18 months clothing.
Love you sweet boy <3

Point Lobos

Could this place be any more gorgeous?! Robert and I fell in love with Point Lobos. Neither of us had been there since we were kids, so we decided to pack up and head out the for some light hiking. We were not disappointed! Wyatt had fun pointing out all the different animals and finding the sea otters in the kelp beds. Hunter was at daycare that day, but next time we will be sure to bring him, as I think he would love it!

Aquarium Day

Robert took an additional week of vacation after Tahoe, so we took advantage of some family time and played tourists in our own town. We took the boys to the aquarium and they loved it! So much to see, touch, and smell :)

Hunter turns FOUR

Not sure how this happened, but Hunter has gone from looking like a toddler to looking like a full-on-KID. Happy 4th birthday, sweet Hunter!
We celebrated Hunter's birthday at the beach. He loves to play in the sand and in the ocean, so what better way to celebrate your birthday?
We love you so much Hunter and love watching you grow. These days you like playing legos, puzzles, building with magna tiles, tracing your letters, digging in the dirt, telling Wyatt what to do, and you like riding your bike.
We are stilllll on the waitlist for preschool, so fingers cross we can get Hunter in as soon as possible. We know he is ready and will do great. It is hard to believe that technically next year at this time we could have a kindergartner!

Tahoe 2017

Tahoe 2017 was a new adventure, as we stayed in a new (giant) cabin this year. For the past ten years we had been staying in the same cabin at Dollar Point, but our family was starting to outgrow that home, so the O's rented a bigger cabin down the street.
We had fun playing at the beach, swimming in the pool, and water skiing/tubing/surfing.
As chaotic as it can be at times with so many littles, the memories our kids are making are priceless. Can't wait to continue our summer vacation tradition in Tahoe! Thank you O's :)
