18 Months Old - Wyatt

Wild man Wyatt is 18 months old, and wow, he is busy! Wyatt is practically running and climbing on everything, talks a ton, and is rarely calm or still. He is what I expected a two year old boy to be like, except, Hunter was never wild or as physical.

While he is wild and crazy, Wyatt is also a major mamas boy and loves to be held with his blanket. He will sit still for soft tickles on his back and loves to cuddle with me on the couch for brief periods of time, but it does not last long.

Wyatt is sleeping from 7pm-6:30am (same as Hunter), with a nap from 12:30-3:30pm everyday. He has no problem crashing in bed, which is awesome for us. As long as he has his blanket, he is happy.

He weighs 29lbs, wears 2T clothing, and size 6 or 6.5 shoes. He is much bigger than Hunter was at this age (about 6lbs heavier and a clothing size bigger) and the more they grow the more I see the differences in their body types. Hunter is long and lean and Wyatt is built like a bear. He is extremely strong and has a lot more muscle on his body than Hunter does.

Wyatt has 12 teeth with his 13th popping through and loves to brush with his toothbrush.

His favorite word right now is NO, but he has a big vocabulary for an 18 month old and can say a lot. I am blown away by the sentences that come out of his mouth. Sometimes his frustration gets in the way and instead of using his words, he screams. We are working on that :)

He will eat almost anything, all the time. The boy is a machine and puts back food like it is his job. I am happy he has an appetite and love to watch him eat - he is so happy!

Wyatt, you surprise me every day with your big personality and bring me so much happiness. You are a huge teddy bear and I love how you love me. I can't wait to watch you grow and see what you will do because I know it will be something big.
