Eight Months Old - Davis

Our big boy Davis turned 8 months old last week! He is still in the lead as our biggest baby, weighing in at a whopping 21lbs. I believe Hunter was 19lbs and Wyatt was 20lbs at this age.
Davis is crawling and moving around the room at lightening speed. Nothing is safe these days and everything goes straight into his mouth, including mounds of dog hair (grossss).
This past week Davis has been waking up 3x per night and I am not sure why, but we are ready to get rid of those night feedings. Time to sleep train, for real this time! I am hesitant to do it because I really don't want to wake the other boys during the night, but I think Davis will benefit long term if we nip this in the bud as soon as possible.
He is eating everything! Cheese, beans, lentils, pb&j sandwiches, eggs, all fruits, cooked veggies, and loves baby puffs. He drinks out of a straw cup during meal times, just like his brothers did at this age. Still no teeth, but he manages to eat with no problems.

Davis is wearing size 9 months in clothes and mainly wears zip up sleepers. I don't dress him up as much as I did the other boys because the sleepers are much easier and seem to be more comfortable for him. He pretty much rotates the same five sleepers - sorry third child :)

He is still the happiest baby ever and is always smiling. His smile is contagious and he makes us all so happy. The big boys love him so much and always run to greet him. They want to play with him so badly (although I think that will change when Davis starts stealing their toys).

We love you Davis - can't believe you have been a part of our family for over eight months already.

Halloween is so fun when your kid knows what to do! Hunter loved knocking on the doors and picking out (one) piece of candy for his bucket. Menlo Park is an amazing place to trick or treat and we had a blast! We got way too many full sized candy bars (Toberlone?!) and every house went all out with the entertainment. We had dinner with the Taylor's and headed after afterwards with the kids.
It really does get more fun the older they get!

Cal Ave Trick or Treating 2015

Last minute decision turned out to be a fun day downtown. We took the boys down to the Cal Ave Trick or Treating where the city shuts down a street and the businesses are open for trick or treating. It is free and it is a fun way to get the community together. We did this year here (see here) with Hunter when he was 14 months old and it wasn't nearly as busy as it was this year! I could hardly get the stroller through the crowd.
Afterwards we walked a block up to Farmer's Market and got juicing supplies for the week. Happy weekend!
PS: it is impossible to get a good picture of the boys these days!
They are so wiggly and distracted I had to bribe
Hunter with candy to look at the camera, hah!

Roomates

These two friends moved in together!

Our first night went great - 7pm bedtime and by 7:40pm they were passed out. It was so cute to listen to them giggling and jumping (Hunter) and rolling (Wyatt) around with excitement on the video monitor.
I know not every night will be as smooth, but I am so excited to have both boys sleeping through the night and I am so excited to have my closet back.

8 Months, 2 Days

I got videos of the boys crawling in the same outfit and at the same age - 8 months and 2 days.
Wyatt is a little plumper, but how cute are they?
The top video is Hunter and the bottom video is Wyatt.

Pumpkin Patch 2015

Tis the season for some pumpkin picking! We took the boys to our favorite Webb Ranch to pick out a pumpkin, play in the petting zoo, and admire the bounce houses (Hunter is still too young). Hunter loved petting the bunnies and feeding the alpacas (one sneezed on me). It was much hotter than last year, but we had a blast.

Eight Months Old - Wyatt

Yesterday Wyatt turned eight months old! I can hardly believe it. He is so interactive, babbling up a storm, and starting to take an interest in whatever Hunter is up to.
Likes: eating, crawling, rolling, jumping in the Johnny Jumper, his pacifier.
Dislikes: being hungry, being in one spot for too long.
Weight: heavy
Milestones: crawling! He and Hunter met this milestone to the day - it's pretty neat to compare them, as so far they have met milestones at the same exact time.
Wyatt did not care too much for purees, so I started feeding him whatever Hunter was eating and it is going great. I am amazed at how much food he can pack down (last night he had avocado toast, strawberries, bananas, black beans, and broccoli). It's really nice that I only have to prepare one meal for both of them and that I don't have to spoon feed him - frees up my hands so I can cook dinner for Robert and me. Also today both boys ate PB&J's, crackers, and fruit for lunch..so easy.
In the mornings Wyatt babbles a ton: gagaga, babababa, dadadada, etc.
Lastly, he is sleeping through the night pretty consistently - whoohoo! He was still waking up around 3am for the longest time, but now he usually makes it until 6ish. Sometimes he will wake and I will pop his paci in his mouth and he is back to sleep. This kid lovvvves his pacifier.
I can't believe he is on his way to ONE :( Time is going too fast.

Happy Jack

This kid cracks us up daily. He is such an easy and funny guy. Who needs toys when you have a drool rag?

SJ Giants

We went to an SJ Giants game last weekend to support PG baseball and it was HOT. We got a picture with the mascot (last year's picture I was pregnant with Hunter!). The minor league games are fun because the crowd is smaller and the tickets are cheaper :) Must do again.
