Nine Months Old - Davis

Three quarters to one year.
Davis is sitting, crawling, pulling up, cruising, blabbing nonsense, and has two teeth! A lot has happened in one month and all of the sudden he seems like a whole new person. Good thing we lowered his crib because his new trick is to pull up standing and then scream for help, because he can't get down. He is starting to rock and jump just like his brother Wyatt.

He is much more interested in what his brothers are up to and less content just hanging behind. He wants to play! I see even more disagreements in my future, yikes.

Davis has been sleeping through the night since he turned 9 months old over a week ago - knock on wood he continues. We never sleep trained, but glad he has (maybe) just grown out of waking for milk. He has been a pretty good sleeper since day one so sleep training felt 1. like I was too lazy to do it, and 2. I figured he would drop the feeding by himself when he was ready. Success.

At our nine month check up he checked out great. The doctor was impressed with all of the milestones he has already met, which was nice to hear. Even with my third child I am always worrying about everything. I have a feeling that will never go away!
Weight: 21 lbs
Height: I need to dig up his report
Head: 90th percentile

Healthy boy!

Matchy-matchy

These boys make me want more boys - they are so fun! I never thought I would be the matchy-matchy mom, but it is too cute and I can't resist dressing them like twins.

I love them and love watching them grow together.

Nine Months Old - Wyatt

Our Wywy is 9 months old! This past month has been different.
We moved Wyatt into Hunter's room a few weeks ago and it was going really well, however, for the past week Wyatt has been struggling around 4am. I keep telling myself he is teething, but it's getting to the point where I think he may be sleep regressing. Usually I wait these things out and after 3-4 days it passes, but after a week and a half I am getting exhausted and frustrated.
Hunter has slept through the crying since we merged rooms, but last night he was chatting in his crib from 1:45am-5:30am (we got him up for good). I felt so bad that Hunter woke up, so tonight we put Wywy back in the man cave. I think Wyatt is teething, so if we can pop that tooth, re-sleep train through the night, and then move him back into Hunter's room we will be ok.
Wyatt is crawling everywhere, demands to feed himself (don't take away his spoon!), loves his toy shovel, he is testing out his pipes (that boy can SCREAM), eating everything, and is very grabby. Overall he is demanding! Way different from Hunter. At the same time, when he laughs and smiles, he is so sweet and loving.
We have his wellness check on Thursday morning and I will know his length and weight - I do know he is huge and weighs way more than Hunter did at 12 months, haha.
Pop that tooth Wywy!

SF Giants

Catching his first train
First SF Giants game as a family
Loving dad
Distracting while the LOUD crowds cheered
A baseball staple
Ear plugs!
Happy boy
Line for the slide was too long
First game - definitely not the last!
Showing off doing pull-ups on the train. People loved him!
Milk break (and stripped off his pants)
Party passengers made him a Mexican man balloon :)
Was a beautiful day in SF today and I am happy we were able to enjoy it. Hunter did great, all things considered. He experienced his first train ride, first giants game, and got his first custom shaped balloon! Hunter always amazes me with how patient and flexible he is when traveling - I always expect the worst, but he continues to prove me wrong :)

Bright Lights

Robert was out of town for the night so I was sending him photos and videos of bedtime - so excuse the commentary, but I LOVE this video. I didn't realize while I was initially taking the video that my flash was on and his reaction to the light is priceless. I think I have watched this a million times on my phone..too adorable.

Little Climber

Mr. Hunter never stops! His curiosity gets the best of him and he is into everything. What a fun thing to watch as a parent. Before becoming a mother I always thought stages like this would be annoying and frustrating, but I love watching Hunter dig in and learn about his surroundings. I can see him thinking and putting ideas together. I might be eating my words later, but for now life cannot get any sweeter.

Atherton 5K

Our schedules are so jam-packed between work, Robert's school, and Hunter that during the week we hardly hangout as a family. I have been itching to start some sort of exercise since I really haven't worked out since I found out I was pregnant, yikes.

I am not much of a runner, but 5K's are super doable, and even better, we can do them as a family! I signed us up for Atherton's 5K, which supports the Menlo and Atherton sports programs. We have a few more races lined up in the near future, so we look forward to running races more often.

Nine Months!

How is he 3/4 of the way to ONE? Happy nine months big boy, we love you.
Likes: crawling, babbling, eating everything, laughing, and going from crawling to sitting position.
Dislikes: not much - teething? He only cries when he is hungry, tired, or teething.

New: he is crawling everywhere, has three teeth (and three more sprouting, ouch), and this morning he pulled himself up into a standing position in his crib. It looks like we really need to get on the baby-proofing wagon (wahh). Perhaps that will be an activity we do this weekend.

Weighs: still at 18lbs
Eats: everything! Pretty much whatever we eat, he eats aside from foods that pose a choking hazard. He is also now exclusively on formula.
We have his nine month wellness check-up on Monday, so we are looking forward to that. He seems to be by-the-book with most milestones so far, which is great and predictable, but we always look forward to the doctors appointments for reassurance anyway.

Always moving
